excellent hostel down a little lane, so nice and quiet. Staff very helpful. Lots of tourist information in the reception area which is always handy. Great Wifi Only negative where that the showers were often cold and had those push buttons which only last 10 seconds or so. The other negative was that breakfast was often too cramped to sit... We recently stayed at Isaac's over St Patrick's Day weekend. As you would expect the hostel was full and very busy. Despite this the staff were always pleasant and helpful and more than happy to assist us with any questions we had. The room was basic but clean and tidy with comfortable bedding provided. We had a room right next... More

March 12th-14th I stayed here on a college trip with a group of 9 others. I thought the hostel was clean, cosy, friendly and enjoyable. It is in a great location right in the city centre close to attractions such as guiness factory and phoenix park, aswel as temple bar, shops, bars and clubs. Most places are in walking distance... I went to Isaacs Hostel in March 2012 for a college trip and we stayed there for two nights. The room had 4 bunk beds in it as there were eight of us so it was very small as we only had a little space to walk up and down. The room was right next to railway tracks so it... More

The price and the facilities were very good, but location was a bit weird, right next to the railway tracks and it was difficult to sleep at night. Otherwise, friendly atmosphere, nice lounge, internet, free maps, helpful staff and secure entry - very good for the price. More

It's more or less what you expect of a hostel. It was cosy enough, with many young people. A livelly hostel with interesting events! I would recommend it! More

Isaac's Hostel is by far my favorite hostel I've stayed while traveling this past term. I say that having stayed at over 4 hostels in the last 3 months. Ronan and Kevin were the two front men when we stayed. They offered a phone charger when I misplaced mine, gave directions, and recommended places around Ireland. One morning there was... More

I really did not want to stay here but the younger members of the family wanted to try the 'Hostel' experience so I caved. We stayed two nights which is one and a half more than I thought I would. The staff were very courteous and friendly and very patient with a non-youth like me so that was a great... More

My stay at Issac's was a very safe and welcome stay! I was greated by a young man, Kevin was his name if I remember right, who give me all the information/directions/and services I need! What a guy! There is wifi and internet access readily availible as well as a lounge, bathrooms, lundry-mat and eating area. The room I stayed... More

I stayed at this hostel for a week with my sister in the end of October - beginning of November 2011. We booked a twin room. The room was clean and ok, it had a bunk bed, mirror with table and a chair > very plain but this was what we expected. The location for this hostel is excellent and... More
