Stayed overnight at this fine property on the 17th May, there was a bit of confusion over the booking. However the very pleasant receptionist spent sometime with us and in the end sorted out the booking. The room was excellent and the room facilities were great. The service in the bar was first class, but we had one problem. We... More

Hotel room was okay but no mini bar / fridge, its tired and you have to pay for wifi! Breakfast was a disaster ... Long wait for a table, dirty plates and no glasses... A classic example of system overload as there were 2 tour groups as well as normal travellers like us. In fairness we complained and never paid... More

A poor welcome at reception, basic bedrooms (not even 3* standard), appalling service at breakfast and when we asked to offer our opinion to the manager, he was very unhelpful and disinterested. More

I stayed at this hotel for five nights. It was a nice enough hotel. The room was a good size but the bathroom is a bit small and could do with an update. It is marketed as a four star hotel but it's really only a three star hotel, a good three star hotel. It's also not in the most... More

Great location - very central but not noisy. Pleasant staff. Offsite parking at good rate. Rooms tired but clean. When available at the <€100 rate it is good value, over that and there are Orr options. Have stayed here often and it is consistent. More

the hotel is just not in the center of things its ideal if you want a hotel in a quiet area. I feel this hotel would suit the older person who likes the old style hotel. the rooms are clean,we got a room on the sixth floor over looking some type of air pipes, which came on in the morning... More

Location wasn't RIGHT in the middle of things - but it was close enough to plenty of attractions & Trinity and 1 block away from the valuable Hop-on-Hop-Off bus tour, which was perfect. The slight distance allowed for a good quiet sleep. Our temperature control was way off (the air wouldn't turn on) and the staff brought up fans and... More

Stayed here 5 nights, location is great. Hop on Hop Off bus is around the corner across from the hotel. Room was good, bathroom fine. Glad I brought my travel hair dryer, there is one in the bath but not very good. Comfy bed, thermostat for heat/ac which we did use. Room nicely cleaned everyday. Worst thing about this hotel... After staying at the Davenport at Xmas, and Dublin being closed from Xmas Eve (7-30 p.m. onwards) until Boxing Day, we thought we would go back and experience Dublin itself. We travelled the 12th to the 15th April. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, but within walking distance of many of Dublin's attractions, Temple Bar and Grafton Street... More

The room was fine, but the staff was horrible. If you walked up to reception they would look at you and say "what do you want?". I wanted to book a trip and one gentleman said they could help in the morning, I called in the morning and the woman said I had to walk 15 min to the bus... More
