Location: The hotel is a little out from the center but is easily walkable and has great transport links if you are using public transport. The hotel is opposite Heuston Station which provides trains out of Dublin, the LUAS tram for within Dublin and a number of bus routes including the 747 Airlink bus which goes from/to the airport (€10... We booked this hotel through Laterooms.com so got a very good deal, but even if you book at 'rack rate' you won't be disappointed. Its a true 4* hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpfull. Particular mention must go to the receptionists and also to the guys in the left luggage office. They were great for local knowledge... More

I stayed in the Ashling hotel last night. I was wowed by the fabulous hotel in such a great location. From outside the door I could jump on the luas and be in the city centre in less than 5 minutes. Had lunch in the restaurant which was reasonably priced and very tasty! Rooms are spacious and very modern! A... More

I dont give 5 stars easily, excellent is a high standard! I have given this hotel a five not because its perfect but because of a genuine desire to provide what the customer wants and provide overall good value and a pleasant stay. The location is good next to the river but just off the main road and therefore easy... More

This is a nice, clean, well run hotel. There are two buildings. The Building facing the street, is newer, and I am told, has central air, and more amenities. We stayed in the back, on two occasions. The first room faced the courtyard, and was over warm due to sun streaming in the window. Staff cheerfully provided a fan, and... More

I stayed in this hotel as a large group of 9 girls attending a concert in Dublin that night. On arrival they were very friendly and throughout the course of the night they were also very accomodating and wishing us a great night and to enjoy the concert. When we arrived our rooms weren't ready (a 4 and 5 person... More

The Ashling Hotel is top notch. Great location, easy walking distance to local attractions ad shopping. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and ample. I had a single room and my father and brother had a much larger room (twice the size of mine) and it had 3 beds. Would be a good family stay.

Stayed with my husband and 2 childrenfor 2 nights and can ddefinitely say I will be back! The receptionist on arrival was very pleasant and helpful and we got a lovely room looking onto the Guinness brewery and Collins barracks. My son had been unwell when we arrived and the following morning we went for breakfast and was greeted by... More

Only parts of the Ashling Hotel are considered 4 star, the rest is rated 3 but I would give it a 2. My room faces a container/brick wall (not even the parking lot view), the window leaks providing a cold breeze all night, and it is of course right next to the service lift. This is the type of room... More
