I was staying in this hotel as part of a group of 6 middle aged professional women from work. We returned to the hotel after a super meal in a city centre Dublin restaurent and decided to have a night cap before bed. At about 1am there was still a small child in the bar, the mother of the child... More

Got a great deal online to stay here on Saturday night after a hen party. Enjoyed afternoon tea here on Saturday. When we were checking in at lunchtime, we could hear the sound of a piano drifting up the stairs from the brasserie - really lovely! The room was a decent size and was very clean. The beds were very... More

Six of us from work decided to have an overnight stay in Bewleys Ballsbridge on my recommendation, We booked 2 family rooms and specified these were for 3 adults and were very disappointed on arrival to find 2 beds and a camp bed in each room! I really do not think a camp bed is suitable for an adult, if... More

We went over for a friends 50th, and booked into Bewleys. Got a good deal from the internet inc breakfast. The hotel was warm, comfortable and had a good location to the party and the city. You can walk in, it will take about 30/40mins, we did it, a nice stroll. Rooms big enough for 2, good bar area, and... More

This is a great historical hotel. Clean, beautiful property with good sized rooms. Loved the "old school" feeling of the hotel. It is very close to the bus stop which is needed to get to downtown Dublin and very easy to navigate. Not a long ride, but the hotel is not within walking distance. It is in a great neighborhood... I stayed at Bewley's Hotel recently when attending a conference. Reception staff were really friendly and bar staff even friendlier. The room was great. Not big, not small, just a little bit like baby bear's porridge. The bed was fabulous....i felt like Goldilocks. You know that feeling when you are just exhausted and need a good sleep? The pillows were... More

This is getting to be a regular for us in Dublin. Decent room. Family room has a double and two singles. There is a huge bar downstairs with cosy booths for the family and good service. It's located well if you have a car, close to the ferry terminals. One negative is the 10 euro per night parking charge. A... More

Stayed in Bewleys of Ballsbridge over the over the May Bank Holiday just gone past. From start to finish it was an enjoyable experience. Clean room, attended to daily, was perfect for what we required. If i had any negative criticism it would be that the sofa bed is too hard on the back to be considered a bed as... More

A good hotel. Common areas, ground etc were all very very attractive. The room was functional rather than luxurious but for the 75 Euro cost was sound value for money. The bar was excellent (cracking steak sandwich) and the people were very friendly. Very good stay for the price - moreso when you consider the free wifi. More

I have stayed in this hotel on numerous nights since the hotel first opened and I have always regard the lounge as a home from home in Dublin. However I have noticed a rapid fall off in the standards of friendliness and sense of welcome that was a hallmark of the hotel for many years. All regulars know at this... More
