Pros Nice prices, staff was helpfull, the room was clean, hot water all day, friendly people on the hostel for the time we spend there, 5 minutes walk from o'connell street. Cons Poor sound isolation, no wi-fi signal on our room (4th floor), really poor breakfast.

Sure, it's a hostel and so one cannot expect the same standard as staying at a hotel. Having said that there are still some basic things that one should be able to demand, such as clean and quite rooms. Unfortunately this was not the case when it comes to TDCH. The good thing was that the location. Quite close to... More

The Hostel is in a good position, 5 minutes walking from city center and 100m from the bus 40 station that brings you everywhere in the city. The staff of the Hostel was quite nice: we arrived 10 minutes after midnight and they did us the checkin even if they normally don't accept it. Moreover at the end of the... More

Relatively good location (walking distance from the center), and although our room was nothing special (it was one of the private double rooms, but if fact adapted (esthetically rather poorly) from a studio apartment), but the staff was kind and also common TV room was nice; overall the experience was positive for the price we paid.

Stayed here 10 days. Staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful (Christina, Ian, Ana and Alina). Very clean room and bathroom and the whole place is clean, new, freshly painted and nicely finished. Great view over Dublin from my top floor ensuite room. Shower temp and pressure excellent... an earlier reviewer said they had morning shower problems, so they must... More

We had a double room, private bathroom, our own microvawe, fridge, sink, small kitchen worktop and dishes.. Everything was new and clean. Heating was still turned on. Hot water was whole day. Plus it is in the city centre and bus from the Dublin airport stops just around the corner! I just loved this place and i am going to... More

Had problems with checkin. They could not find my booking, but the rooms was blocked for us. They told us to wait half an hour, so we stowed our baggage and explored the neighborhood. After that we returned and they had a room for us. Clean, basic rooms. Good shower, but no hot water in the morning. It's an easy... More
