We arrived to a room with a large puddle in the bathroom the toilet was leaking. Instead of sending up maintenance they sent a maid. They did not fix it, then they assigned us a new room, which had someone else in it when we arrived. Finally got a new room, it was very warm, old and dirty.

Nice enough hotel for the money but the rooms are tired Nd in need of refurbishment. Our room was uncomfortably warm. When we called the desk they said there was nothing they could do and they ran out of fans. The room was old and dated. Shower pressure was awful. Could be rated better but bathroom is very poor. You can abhor it. General cleanliness to be improved. Breakfast is nothing special - lets say standard. Service cannot be praised- both reception and morning staff. Good advice - pay 20 Eur more if you can and find something better.

I think I would be less cranky about the Ballsbridge if they simply owned up to what they are: budget accommodations with a relatively convenient location.
