Great location! I stayed at this hostel because of the cost and location and I was not disappointed. Security is excellent. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Very clean! I would recommend this hostel to anyone. As a solo traveller I was very happy. More

I stayed at this hotel because, booking late to come to Dublin, all the big chain hotels were fully booked. I stayed in a private room. Unlike some of the reviews I read beforehand I found all the staff to be very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. The hostel was very security conscious and generally I... More

Great location ! a few minutes from all bars & city center, a few minute walk from the bus stop going to the airport + clean & calm! I really recommend it! We were in Dublin for a girls' weekend and really appreciated being able to get a private 4 - bed room, with our own bathroom.... I don't really... More

Never thought to stay in a hostel before. This one was pretty good. Good price/quality deal. Clean rooms, basic comfort and breakfast included. Would certainly recommend it to friends. More

I travelled to Dublin for a long weekend with one other friend and booked Jacobs primarily because of the price. We've both stayed in hostels before, of mixed quality, and in all honesty would have been satisfied providing there was a bed and a shower. However, Jacobs exceeded my previous hostelling experiences and turned out to be an excellent choice.... More

My friends and I were actually booked to stay at Isaacs Hostel but they moved us to their "3 star sister hostel". I don't know who decided how many stars these places deserves. The location was very convenient but almost impossible to find in the first place. 'Breakfast' was toast and corn flakes - no other options. Our room was... More

Yes, its pretty cheap, does that mean it is good value for money compared to what else you can find in Dublin at similar prices? I dont think so This is what I look for when I want to find a good hostel, particularly if travelling with a mixed group. 1) Good price 2) Clean rooms 3) Secure rooms and... More

It is clean, with friendly staff and nice facilities. My girlfriend and I had a private room on the top floor. Everything was great and we were really impressed with the en-suite bathroom. However there wass one little problem. The door handle to the bathroom was faulty and when we returned in the evening we found that we couldn't open... More

This was a wicked hostel, I was travelling with my partner and when we arrived we couldn’t believe it was a hostel! Our private room had a double bed (although this did have a single bunk above this didn’t bother us, I assume this is so they can use the rooms for double and triple groups where necessary), desk and...
