Unless this hotel has improved its shoddy room doors, which you cannot secure lock from the inside, I would sincerely urge female solo travellers to NOT STAY in My Place Dublin, formerly Browns Hotel. My WORST hotel experience ever More

This hotel was old, the bathroom was mouldy and small. The hot water barely worked. The cleaner literally threw a towel at you in the morning and that's what they called "cleaning". My friend stayed in the "luxury Room" and was bitten by fleas. It's located near the city centre but on a dodgy street. The staff were clueless and... More

Stayed at Brown's Hotel as part of a short break with my Fiance. After reading the reviews I was not expecting too much from the hotel. We arrived slightly early to check in however the room was ready and we were given the keys. At first it seemed as though the door did not have a lock, and after asking... More

We booked this hotel as we were going to Croke park , to see Westlife, and its only a 10 minute walk to it. On reading the reviews we were very apprehensive i must say!! As we were only staying one night we only brought minimal belongings.. We arrived an hour early to check in, but staff were only too... More

The room was small, and the bathroom was even smaller. No more than 1 person at a time could be in it at a time, so it was difficult to get ready. The shower was moldy and the whole room and bathroom were just generally unclean and unkempt. It's an older building that has obviously not been updated as well... More

We stayed in the so called luxury appartments for my partners birthday, what a mistake. The apartment we were given was not clean, noisy but more importantly not safe. They are meant to be self catering but you are unable to cook in them due to the fact the cooker is not cleanrd and there is no cuttlery or even... More

My partner & I returned in the early evening only to find a RANSACKED ROOM with all our valuables stolen. 2 passports, work visas, licences, 2x ipods, men’s aftershave, scarf, speakers and a phone charger. It seems the passports were the main target, the rest were opportunity grabs. Inevitably, I am wondering if the theft was carried out by a... More

I stayed with a group taking up three rooms in the "hotel". Staff recommended the Qpark across the street and said that it was free for hotel guests, which it wasn't (half price costing over 100 euros for 4 cars). Could have been a misunderstanding but the complaint was dealt with terribly. The manager didn't give us the time of... More

Walls falling apart in our room. Tv had no channels. We were out during the day Saturday and came back to find that we had been robbed! My pefume, my keys and my boyfriends aftershave were taken. Reported it when we were leaving, they said they would ring me the Tuesday but never heard anything. I am following it up... More

Hi there: Thank you for staying at Browns. I would like to take this oppertunity to apologise for the loss of your personal items during your stay.
