What can I say, there were good and bad points during our stay. Good points first, On check in staff were quick and helpful, room was really nice tastefully decorated , ( however the was a weird smell in our room , but my friend seemed to think it was wet carpet, which were washed , not sure ) really... I have no complaints about the room itself - which was as promised - bed comfy, tv/coffee, tv worked, balcony and was really close to the bord gáis energy theatre where we went to see the Lion Kind (fab!). On the Friday night we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant - I really wish we had ventured out as... More

We only had one night here, after staying the night before in Galway we though what lovey people we had met & how helpful but arriving at maldron we were surprised by our greeting. The staff were rude & didn't seem to care, a smile would go a long way. The next morning we jumped up early to get to... More

I stayed here with my son on a recent trip to Dublin. The Hotel is ideally located for events at the O2 Arena and the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. It is also within walking distance of Dublin City Centre and not too far form a Luas Stop if you don't fancy the walk into the city centre. The hotel is... More

This hotel is in no way a 4 star accommodation. For what appears to be a relatively new building there is no climate control or A/C in this hotel. I couldn't open the sliding door as that opened onto a balcony shared with about 6 or 7 other rooms. Why would a whole corridor share a common, unsecure balcony? So... More

Not a good hotel. No car park. Room is very tattered and dated. Bed uncomfortable. Breakfast all low quality foods. TV didn't work. Bar very in atmospheric. Radisson Blu on a different level and was similar price. Only good things to say are: free wifi and decent sized pool for lengths (although 2 euros to buy a swimming cap which... More

Although there is quite a walk into the city center ( about 20/25 mins, which is no fun in the rain!), this hotel is a lovely 10 min stroll along the Liffey from the 02 arena which makes it perfect if you are going to a show, time enough to chat about what a great time you had at the concert!... Booked a weekend stay for a recent business trip. The Maldron hotel on Cardiff Lane is conveniently located to Connolly station and the Dart, although we got a taxi from the station it is at most 15mins walk. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a balcony. Relaxed atmosphere in the Chic hotel Lobby bar helped me unwind after... More
