It was our first stay in Ireland and we chose Ashling House through Late Rooms.Com. We were very pleased with the B and B, it's cleaness, situation and all round standard of presentation and care. Padraigh and Bernadette were very helpful towards all our needs and went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay in... More

Only 20 mins per bus to central city, bus stop directly in front of Ashling House. Ask Padraig for a Day Ticket (6,50 €). Very friendly owner, helps you with everything you need. You can even use the kitchen if you ask for it. Thanks again, Padraig. =) More

We stayed at the Ashling House this December for 2 nights during the Christmas season when most B&B's were closed. Padraig was exceptionally helpful and explained to us how to take the local bus as well as the tourist attraction bus. We are not used to traveling via public transportation, so this was greatly appreciated. There are many lovely restaurants... More

Only continental breakfast was offered, which i dont feel is satisfactory when charged 50 euro a night. The room had the basics and no more. There was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and no hair dryer. There was a tiny tv up in the corner of the room but it was so small that i had... More

Dear knightrider_12, Thank you for taking time to review Ashling House. I must apologise as there was no hair dryer in your room. It is a pity you did not mention this to me in the morning as I keep a stock of spare hair dryers as they do go missing on the very rare occasion. I am disappointed you... More

I had to find somewhere to stay in Dublin on a short notice and I was very lucky to find this gem. I paid €29 per room per night and it was a bargain! Not only the room and en-suite were spotless, but you can cook in a kitchen and have tea any time of the day. I have not... More

Ashling House was a new find for me in Dublin, and I was very impressed!! The house is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the breakfast was great. Even though the B&B isn't in the city centre, it is very easy to get there, and an added bonus is that it's on the way to the airport!... More

If you are going to think about booking this B&B or its sister B&B Azalea Lodge across the road, travellers be warned that the parking situation could give rise to you experiencing a horrendous stay in Aisling House or Azalea Lodge. Be advised that if you do not check that you are parked in a specific place that may not... More

In our absence client parked her car in our neighbour’s private car park. Our neighbour asked that it be moved at 10.30pm. We explained to the client that the car had to be moved and offered to move it for her. The next afternoon we eventually had to ask the client to leave our property. We will leave the reader... More

Our hosts, Bernadette and Padraig Sweeney, were friendly, gracious. and helpful. (They own Azalea House across the street, where we had a full Irish breakfast each morning.) They gave detailed advice about buses, cabs, and places to visit. Padraig drove us to Howth, a fishing village about a half an hour away. On the way, he talked about Dublin and... More

Ashling House was a great place to stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful in giving suggestions about things to do in and around Dublin if you want ideas or need to look at maps. The city center is only a 10 minute bus ride and the B & B is in a quiet area. The room was the... More

I agree with most of the other reviews. This B&B more than met my needs. Friendly and helpful hosts and staff, great location, spotlessly clean, good local bar and restaurants, free parking and wi-fi and the place has a good 'feel' about it. I was lucky to get the big, twin room at the back with doors opening to the... More
