Glen Guesthaus has a great location near downtown Dublin. Many attractions, restaurants and shopping areas are located just within a walking distance of the Gesthaus. It is also very easily reached from the airport. The building itself is quite modest, but the rooms are tidy and quite spacious with own bathrooms. Also 24 hour reception service, friendly receptionists and breakfast... More

My husband and I just had a nice weekend in Dublin, we chose this guesthouse for price and good reviews. Actually the room was very nice and spacious, both room and bathroom were very clean. Location amazing, close to bus station and shopping district, walking distance to Temple Bar. Downsides: we had a room facing the street, so noise all... More

The room was clean, shower was great. But no where to put anything. Great for the bus to and from airport and walking distance from main attractions. The breakfast was rather over sold. Not quite as advertised. A good window cleaner would make a fortune. For location would recommend. More

Stayed there for three nights. Noise was not a problem. Asked for a quite room in advance and got one. Booked through booking.com for € 38 per night. Right in city centre. Polite, helpful management. Small rooms with TV...but only went to sleep there at night. Will I come here again...Yes. People who moan should go for hotels near The... More

We have been welcomed by a very kind woman at the reception, she was the only positive thing during our stay. Sound-proof room? not at all! High Definition Audio will be much more appropriate to say , you will much appreciate your tv when you next door neighbor will spend their nights having arguments all night long. And the smell... Been working in Dublin for the last few months, and while living in a house with 4 co-workers, I decided to stay at a hotel when my girlfriend came over for a visit from Oslo. Read a few "not so good" reviews about The Glenn Guesthouse, but as almost everything else in town was booked this weekend due to a... More

We stayed there for three nights in mid-May. The first impression was disconcerting, with a dingy lobby and shabby, tiny stairs leading out into a small, steamy courtyard. We stayed in the back part of the building, our room overlooking an alley. It was quiet and comfortable, with a clean bathroom. The breakfast was fine, although we chose cold cereal... More

We originally booked to stay at the hotel next door, however it appeared to be closed when we arrived there. Mildly panicking, we went into the Glen Guesthouse to see if they knew what was going on. To our surprise, they had our booking and were expecting us. We didn't receive an explanation, which was strange. We only stayed for... More

The nightporter and particularly the manager here lack the basic hospitality skills that it takes to run a successful guesthouse. There was so much noise outside my room, i may as well have been inside a disco. When i complained to staff, they implied it was my own fault for not requesting a quiet room. They also lacked simple manners... More
