Rooms disgusting we found traces of vomit on the bed sheets from the last guests. What amazed us more than all was as after 11pm we were asked to smoke cigarettes in the bar as we were not allowed outside in case the Guarda found out that non residents drink until 6am. Unbelievable in this day and age. There was... More

The reason my friends and I visit Ireland every other month is for the friendly, welcoming culture and the heavy drinking sessions, this is the 1st Dublin hotel that we have found that not only make you feel welcome but also where the staff and locals actively join in with you. This place is without a doubt a little haven... More

From our arrival at the Sunnybank 'bar l unge' (missing 'o' on signage!) our stay was eventful. The car park was nowhere near big enough and cars were clearly abandoned causing double parking, and quite a bit of manoeuvring was required to ensure you wouldn’t come back to find your car damaged by someone else’s attempts. If anyone had to... More

Do not stay here if you value your sleep! Arrived here and was pleasantly surprised and happy with cleanliness ! False sense of security! Arrived home and hotel was quite noisy - though this would end by around 1am. - nope! Local people using bar the whole night through to 9am the next morning, singing shouting and chanting. Didn't sleep... More

This hotel should come with a goverment warning. I hit my bed when the milkman was delivering and the barstaff are more than willing to share a cider breakfast with you. I would only recommend this hotel to alcoholics. There is no point in booking a room either because it is quite acceptable to sleep on the floor of the... More

We had a wonderful stay at Sunnybank Hotel Dublin during a 14-day trip to Europe. The wonderful staff with their warm hospitality and kind assistance turned this two-star hotel into a four-star hotel for us. The hotel is located in a quiet, convenient neighborhood between the airport and city center. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel... More
