This is my second time to the ferryman. The staff and owner Tommy are awesome. They took very good care of us even though we arrived early, they even remembered us from last year. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and the shower was great. We will stay here the next time we come back to Ireland. More

Loved The Ferryman. Small family-owned Bed & Breakfast/Hotel at the Liffe, just opposite the Convention Centre, where I attended a conference. Everything you need in i hotel: a good bed, a small TV, a bathroom - with the best shower I ever have used!. Good Englist breakfast, cooked just for you. And no noice from the pub below, as I... The location was close enough to attractions to walk, but far enough away from the action to avoid crowds. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is an old building so the plumbing has some quirks, and our TV was bad, but we spent so little time in our room that it wasn't an issue. We had a room in... More

I stayed here while attending DCC across the river. Location is very good, and my room was no 16, single at the back. Ask for a room higher up and avoid any noise. Also rooms at the back have no view, but at least there is no noise from people smoking on the pavement down below. Breakfast staff were lovely,... More

I stayed for a conference, the location was great, right accross the river from the convention centre! At first glance the rooms are lovely, then you look closer. The bathroom is filthy, moldy showers, unvacuumed floors, stained bedding. The worst part is this is a pub, NOT A HOTEL. It's open until early hours and the noise from downstairs will... More

I was atending a Conference in Dublin and this was close by. I wasn't impressesd by the smell in the first room htey showed me too and when I asked to be moved, I was treated like an enemy. I was moved, my bags were thrown angrily on hte floor with the staff member saying nothing as he turned and... More

we had a lovely break for our anniversary. the room was quite small and a bit noisy as we were above the ac units (although we did request a quiet room with a view if possible), but the guinness helped sleep! the team at the hotel were pleasant. hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the city centre and the... Accommodation is above a lively friendly pub which is situated on the quay next to Samuel Beckett bridge. Amazing views with large arched Windows if you're in rooms 1 or 2. Clean rooms, strong shower which was really refreshing. Breakfast was average. apx 30 min walk to main shopping area or 14euro by cab. Near to the Dublin eye. Initially... More

stayed only for one night here on 19th June 2011 when in Dublin for the amazing "Take That" concert at Croke Park. Arrived early enough to settle into our double room. The view rom the window was great, looking over the river Liffey, we could see a Russian war ship of some description moored, that was strange to see, but... More
