My cousin and I stayed with Rita for 2 very comfortable nights. The room was nice with a great view of her back garden. Rita was a very gracious hostess. She had knowledge of the area and was able to suggest routes and places to see. The suggestions for dinner stops were very good and her breakfast was great. The... More

I stayed with my cousin at Moytura House for two nights. Rita, the owner, was very helpful, with suggestions for things to see in the area, routes to take, notable places for scenic views, restaurants, and more. We were looking for a needlework shop and she called a store in Galway to check on something for us, saving us a... More

My family and I had just arrived into Galway from a busy week in Italy, we were greeted by RIta who was delightful and very friendly, she made us feel at home right away! Our rooms were very tidy and clean, we booked two rooms beside each other both rooms had lovely clean bathrooms attached. I loved the cozy beds... More

Rita is great! Very accomodating and will help you with every need. Wonderful breakfast. Be respectful and treat her the way you would want any guest to treat you. You are a guest in her house. More

I stayed at Moytura B&B because I was doing a course out in Spiddal for 5 days. I originally thought I'd stay the first 2-3 nights and then move closer to my course 30 mins away in Spiddal but Rita's welcome was so lovely, and the room was so cosy I stayed the full 5 nights. When I wanted to... More

I recently enjoyed a two night stay at Moytura Bed and Breakfast. It was an excellent, welcoming experience to Ireland. The house was very clean and lovely inside and out and my room was cozy and peaceful. All rooms have TVs and the WiFi signal is excellent throughout the home. But instead of spending downtime on my own I found... More

I stayed for 4 nights at Moytura House, paying 45 euros for single occupancy of a very comfortable double room. I came by bus from Killarney, and Rita provided detailed information that saved me a trip into town and out again. Moyatura is about a 10 minute drive from the town centre, but there are several city buses from a... More

Stayed in this B&B with friends for Race Week in Galway. Greeted with a very frosty reception from Rite, the owner, made us feel most unwelcome. We were supposed to stay 4 nights but left after 2. Arrived down for breakfast at 10.07 and she would not give us our cooked breakfast. Would not recommend this at all! More

This is a wonderful little B&B property located in Galway. Its an ideal base for touring most of the western part of Ireland (Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, Galway city). Rita the proprietor is very friendly and helpful and gives wonderful directions concerning the best places to go in Galway for a night on the town. My wife and I... More
