We liked this B&B, it was an easy 10 min. drive into Galway, but convenient as we had a car hire and needed parking. The staff was very helpful and had great recommendations on places to eat. Our room was lovely, it was clean and cozy. The breakfast area/sitting area was comfortable and had a feeling of home. We would... More

Stayed for 2 nights with my mum and sister in a triple room. It cost us euro10 by taxi to get into the city centre with local cab firm. Very quiet at night so you can get a good night's rest. In peak season they don't include breakfast in room rate so check your booking! Breakfast is very reasonably priced... More

We stayed at the guest house over the New Year (2011/2012). We had a very warm welcome and the staff looked after us very well! Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it! Every area was clean and fresh, with modern decoration through out! If I return to Galway, I will definitely stay there again! The best B and B I... More

Having grown up in Ireland, I have an irrational fear of B&Bs out West, but the Amber Heights is absolutely brilliant. The welcome is warm, we'd brought our dog as prearranged without any fuss or extra charge, and the decor is about as far from B&B (in my mind) as you could get. Bright, clean, modern. Our room wasn't yet... More

We stayed there a couple of the days and we were happy. Not close to the city, about 12-15 min by car as Galway is a very busy city and traffic was bad. Rooms were O.K and breakfast was good. we will be back in the summer of 2012 More

This B&B is a nice option for those looking to stay near Galway. It is on a housing estate about 40 minute walk from Galway centre .It provides plenty of nearby street parking. It provided a warm welcome and was very accommodating of our late arrival (9:45PM) which we greatly appreciate. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable but... More
