Stayed here for the second time (only B&B for me now after staying in the Upper Salthill area of Galway City 4 times) this past week. Lovely owners, great location on the Barna Road, minutes by bus to Galway City and a great stepping off point to the Connemara Coast Region. Except for one room all are fairly small but... More

Have had the privilege of staying here twice in the last two visits to Galway. Perfect location with a front room view of Galway Bay. Located in Upper Salthill area of Galway allows one to be close to the city without having to worry about driving. Bus stop into town is very close and very easy to use. Our favorite... More

This B&B is located in the suburbs of GAlway. The couple that runs this place are charming and very helpful.. On a rainy day, we decided to take a bus trip to the Cliffs of Moher and needed to get to the bus depot in a very short time. The owner, Larry, volunteered to take us to downtown Galway and... More

i only chose to give this B&b 3 stars because of the bedroom. the home itself was lovely, the food was great and we were asked what we like to eat for breakfast, insinuating we could ask for something other than a traditional Irish breakfast, but we were pleased with the meal 100%. However, the room we stayed in had... More

When we came to Kilbrack House we we warmly welcomed. A beautiful area. We were given wonderful directions and allowed to check in early. As it was mentioned that many of my ancestors were from Ireland, I was told, "welcome home!" I felt very welcomed by this family and told them so. I would highly recommend this B&B. The welcome... We stayed 2 evenings at the Kilbrack House (14-15 Oct 2012). We had a very nice room with a great view of Galway Bay. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. They provided some extras for us that would never be expected as a B&B host. Additionally, Larry is a great source of local information for what ever you may... More

This was our first B & B during our two week trip in Ireland and we were NOT disappointed. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, and the common room was more than just comfortable for spending time reading, and sending e-mails. Breakfast was a good start for a long day of sightseeing. Caroline and Larry were very helpful, Larry... More

We had great expectations coming to Kilbrack house, given the positive reviews. Unfortunately, our room was a joke, the full size bed filled it leaving a narrow space between the bed and wall on one side, no place to have a suit case open other than on the bed. The only furnishings outside of the bed were two marble topped... More

Salthill in a very quaint seaside town just outside of Galway City. Kilbrick House was not walking distance, which I was led to believe it was.( and I walk daily). The dining room and sitting room was beautifully decorated. Our guest room and bathroom was of good size and clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! The aromas from Caroline's kitchen... More

This was our first B&B in Ireland and a great introduction to the country and its people. The family was warm and welcoming. The room was more than adequate for the three of us. The house and room were impecably clean. Very quite at night. The breakfast was well prepared and atmosphere very warm. I really felt at home here!... More
