Stayed here one night. Rooms are tiny but very clean and shower good. Not a hotel for a family. We stayed at back of hotel and it was the weekend so it was a bit noisy. Its a quirky little place and well situated in Salthill. We had breakfast across the road, as they do not do same.

The Prairie House hotel is a listed building so when it was converted to a hotel they were very limited in terms of what they could do with it. Booked a nights stay in Prairie House last july, firstly took us ages to find it they failed to mention the resturant on ground floor and to check in next door. Nice but a bit of a squeeze. Clean and friendly, salthill is a nice place for a walk and black cat downstairs has good food and service. Facilities are lacking parking, bar. It is cosy and thee is probably better value elsewhere in Galway.
