We got married in the Dunloe in April 2013. We could not have picked a more fitting venue for our wedding to celebrate with family and friends, stunning food, majestic grounds, warm and friendly staff. We were fortunate to have sunny weather on our wedding day which took full advantage of the surrounding grounds and gardens of the Dunloe, which were... More

We are on an organized tour so I must admit that this 5 star hotel might not have been on our itinerary if we had planned this on our own BUT I am SO glad we stayed here! It is a beautiful hotel on glorious farmland type grounds. We arrived with the horses with new foals greeting us and who... More

In front of the gap of dunloe with lots of space in and around the hotel a great place to spend your time in Killarney. Fishing grounds on hotel premises, access to horse-back riding. Nice staff and spacious rooms.

I have returned to this hotel over many years for a short break in May. The hotel is located in the country approx 3 miles from Kiilarney town. Taxi availability is no problem. I have always found this hotel to be in imaculate condition, a very helpful staff, and good facilities. A large swimming pool - I aways seem to... More

We stayed one night in The Dunloe for a wedding. The wedding was excellent and it is a beautiful venue. The meal and staff were all first class. The only disappointment was 'comfort in bed'. The pillows were like rocks, we have never come across any pillows more uncomfortable - and they were all the same, even the spare one... More

Dear MDMpr, Many thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I apologise that on this occasion the pillows were not to your liking. I can assure you that had you made us aware of the situation we would have delivered softer pillows to your room. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed the food and location and... More

My husband and I enjoyed all aspects of the castle hotel. The drive up to the hotel sets expectations high that a wonderful destination awaits and it does not disappoint. Our room was beautifully appointed, grounds a delight to explore with ruins to be found, and the peace and views exceptional. Breakfast was hearty for adventurous expeditions. Staying at Dunloe... We stayed two nights on our grand tour of Ireland. The room was pretty expensive, mostly paying for the view. I wanted a view of the Dunloe Gap, which was amazing. We wound up getting a family room, although we didn't request that (it was just the two of us). The room had two rooms, with two bathrooms. There were... More
