Overall great experience. Booked for Stag of 19, is great location, very convenient and great atmosphere. Brilliant deal with steak dinner, was gorgeous. The room were spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

As hostels go, Lanigans is well above the standard of the rest. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable and location cant be beaten. The staff in the bar are great and looked after us very well. They were very flexible with breakfast times etc and went out of their way for us in general. Keep up the good work.

This was booked by Stagit on our behalf for a Stag weekend. The room had 8 bunk beds and was tiny. The room was freezing and there was no hot water in the morning. Cold Shower ! Absolutely dreadful - dirty.

The full experience and a great crew to go along with it. You are well taken care of. The hostel was cozy, comfortable, and close-knit. Being right next to Lanigan's pub and in a convenient part of Kilkenny, you really cannot ask for more.

Place is great for small groups looking for a place to sleep and eat. Service was very welcoming, food was terrific. Also a very good place for those looking for a good nightlife, as the connected bar offers great music and is generally good for watching competitive matches. Additionally, rooms themselves were comfy. First time stay, highly recommended!

My stay at Lanigans was very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and that my stay in Ireland was awesome. If you are in need of a place to stay while in or around Kilkenny, choose Lanigans!
