Stayed there this weekend. Had a great experience. Great value for money and the staff were extremely helpful. The room was fine, large clean bathroom and the bed was comfortable. Stayed with my boyfriend and he enjoyed it also. Didn't notice any smells as mentioned in previous reviews. There was air con in the room aswell which made it a... More

To say that the hallways smell is an understatement. An odor similar to mildew, garbage, and powder carpet cleaner is oppressive in the hallways and some rooms. That sour smell seeps into all rooms. There are no shampoos in the bathroom. Linens are worn. The remote control had no batteries. Most of our key cards didn't work on first try.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night only and 1 night was enough. We were booked in to Rm 219 which was horrible. The window was filthy, the curtains were really dirty, the bed linen was really worn and nobbly and was more yellowish than white as it was so old. I rang Reception and told the girl... More

This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed , I was staying over for 1 night , when I got into the room it was tatty and dated looking , looks like it hadn't been touched since the 70's , but that didn't bother me too much I wasn't expecting a 5 star experience , then I... More

Very nice staff at this Limerick location. We just stopped for the night, so not too sure how convenient it is to local attractions. Room was clean and it was a good room for the cost. The only downfall is the location in which to park your car. Free parking is offered in the parking garage across the street. Once... More

The room wasn't cleaned ( I came across some used plaster in one of the bins), the wall in the bathroom looked dirty with a hair stuck to it. The corridors smelled very badly and the room was cold. The hotel doesn't have it's own parking place.Me and my boyfriend were told to park only at the parking places from... More

Staff was very helpful, the breakfast was DELICIOUS !!!!!! fresh baked scones and the cook was so nice and cheerful! Offered me a hot scone from the oven !! Rooms were nice and clean. Very night atmosphere downstairs. Only had two problems- one room smelt funky and the other had a big spider web hanging from the ceiling. More

Reception area is lovely (except for the smell of fish! Obv from the carvery at lunch time, its disgusting!!) Staff were friendly and check in was efficient and quick. Stayed on the third floor, corridors were very smelly. They smelled of sewage and dampness. Some of the windows were covered in bird poo and net curtains could do with a... More

Rooms are quite nice - bathrooms good, reception very friiendly - however - 10:30pm friday the awful bar singer/music starts VERY LOUDLY (so much you can hear the awful "club singer" intonation) - I phoned reception and they said its normal from 10:30 to 12:20 EVERY friday and saturday! I can not imagine anyone in the bar/restaurant even wants it... More

The receptionists were very helpful, the room was spacious and well-designed, as was the bathroom; ideal city centre location, good food, very good value breakfast, secure car-parking just round the corner. The hotel is situated in an architecturally attractive part of the town, opposite the fine Palladian-style Sarsfield Credit Union (formerly the Limerick Savings Bank). My only regret is that... More
