Surprised by all the postive notes here. I was not impressed. The d Hotel is certainly not up to 4 star standard. Aircon does not exist here, nor does it have a sauna. The postive effect of that was because of the high temperatures outside the rooms doubled as saunas! Leaving the jokes aside, a hotel like this should have... More

I never write war & peace reviews as people are normally just looking for re-assurance they’re not wasting their money. Its a very clean, lovely hotel, centrally situated in Drogheda on the Boyne... Rooms are large, breakfast is big and tasty - all in all a great place, with professional friendly staff. Ps. The pub attached to the hotel -... More

Nice, clean, modern hotel which is situated along the Boyne River. The room was a bit warm in May, but luckily there was a fan as the window did not open. The room came with a (HUGE) full Irish breakfast which I took about half of it to go and had it for lunch! Dinner with live music in the... More

I stayed at this fairly new hotel for 2 nights and I was really impressed. The rooms are large with large windows and my room looked straight over the River Boyne with just the pedestrian walkway in between. Even though I was there for a Friday night it was quiet. The adjoining restaurant is an old brewery which is tastefully... More

Stayed here as part of a CIE tour. Room was neat and clean. Very modern decor, which comes comp, eye with a welcoming snack. Great view of the river from the room. Some other rooms do not have the same great view as they are doing construction next door to the hotel. There is a small, shopping mall right next door and... More

I stayed here recently on a one night package and I really liked the hotel. Nice luxury room, lovely decor and clean. Staff very friendly especially reception and breakfast room staff. I note a previous reviewer said breakfast is served in a bar, that's not true, its served in what seems to be a function room that has a bar... More

Had such a disappointing stay. A two night weekend break that will not be repeated. Was on an inclusive package and pre booked dinner only to get to the hotel to find they had lost our reservation. Even though they rang us to confirm 2 days previous! Offered to seat and serve us dinner in the open lobby even though... More

Stayed on business in May 2013. The area around the hotel is shabby & my room looked out on what looked like an abandoned building site. The room was modern, bright & clean with free Wifi, safe & kettle and the bed was big and comfortable. Went to the bar downstairs for some food (which they advertise as a gastro... More
