I stayed here in 2009 in a "no room at the inn" situation, and got their last room. I walked in and turned on the light, the room was still so dull I thught the lightbulb must be on the way out. I opened the curtains which were drawn to let in some light to find a wall not more... More

....more like student accommodation. No toiletries apart from soap. The room was like an afterthought, shower only.sink in the bedroom as opposed to the bathroom!! The bed was comfortable enough to get a solid nights sleep and the shower / toilet was clean but not what you d expect from a three star hotel. Breakfast was terrible: Buffet cereal /... More

went to see Jedward............ didn't see anything because of all the people standing on the seats. I think the stewards should have made people sit down or stand on the floor, they shouldn't have allowed the people to stand on the seats. I feel like they don't care once they've got your money. When I complained they just shrugged their... More

I went to the Tommy Tiernan gig on the 22nd of Dec 2011, the most awful barmaid I have ever come accross. She treated the place like her own personal SPEED DATING SPACE, ignoring the ladies at the bar, serving the men.The bar was manky, wet, full of empty plastic and stank. I have emailed them but doubt I will ever... More

Oh Lord...where to start....The foyer was beautiful and quaint.. luxurious blue carpet....and there it ended. Once you step off the blue carpet(ie go upstairs) the facilities are shoddy with our room similar to one in Fawlty Towers. Certainly a throwback to the 60s...the 1860's. The room door had a housekey for opening...but you also had to twist a heavy brass... More

Four of us had a dinner and concert (vladimir) at this venue on sunday , 18th December 2011. Having read all the reviews beforehand I was a bit wary about the quality of the service and the food. I need'nt have worried atall actually. The dinner was first class and the staff were wonderful. We were treated like ''royalties'' ...pardon... More

On November 26th myself and 2 friends went to the Jimmy Carr show in theT.F. The night didn't start well when we couldn't get served at the bar because the queue was so long and it seemed only 2 bar staff were serving. We gave up and went upstairs only to find the bar staff who were "working" there were... More
