we stayed 2 nights at Hazelbrook house and had the best host in John Cafferkey. He has the best sense of humor and Irish wit and gives great directions, not to mention his wonderful omelets-cooked to order and all this under the watchful gaze of Jules and Verne! More

Close to town centre, the house is excellent, the room was beautiful, comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was prepared and served by John the proprietor who could not be more welcoming, generous with his time and served up excellent food. The overall experience was that of 5 star service and accommodation at 3 star prices. If I am back in... More

On a 4 day trip around Co. Mayo, we came across Hazelbrook B&B on our search for accommodation in the nice town of Westport. John - the owner - welcomed us and really made us feel at home. The room en suite on the 1st floor was nice, cosy and spic-and-span, like the rest of the lovely house. Moreover, Wexford... More

This B&B was chosen when we found ourselves without accommodation in Westport for one night. It was perfect - spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed (and quiet bedroom) and our host, John, was very welcoming. There was plenty of choice next morning for breakfast and of course we had the full Irish which was delicious and served with great courtesy by... More

We stayed at Hazel Brook in april and it was a very pleasant stay. John is a really nice guy (we didn't had the chance to see Mary) and very welcoming. We had a wonderful time, the room was perfect. More

Me and my girlfriend's family went for a trip to Westport, Sligo during the Easter weekend. We didn't book any hotel or bed & breakfast, so when we got to Westport we decide to just have look around to find a decent place. We tried a few hotels but they are either too expensive or just wasn't appealing. As we... More

At our arrival we became a warm welcome from the owner. He showed us the lovely and modern rooms and gave us a lot of usefull hints for our stay. At the next morning we enjoyed an excellent full irish breakfast in the comfortable dinning room. So all in all a great stay. The rooms are big and modern and... More

3 freinds and myself stayed at Hazelbrook for one night on 31 March. This was our first visit to Westport. On our arrival we were warmly greeted by Michael and shown to our rooms, Michael carried our bags in for us :). The rooms were lovely, clean and very comfortable.
