My family - 2 teenagers and hubby, had a lovely time at the Mulberry Lodge. A very relaxed atmosphere with great attention to detail and lots of little extras. We enjoyed the great facilities with guest lounge, WiFi, spacious bedrooms, spotless bathrooms etc. With excellent hygiene and sanitising options we felt very safe and welcome there during our visit. Thank you Nuala.

The host Kevin is what make the Mulberry Lodge, he is very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was excellent my husband had the traditional Irish fry and I had the pancake and fruit, you could order what ever you wanted and the portions were very good.

The location is excellent only 5min walk from the town centre, shops restaurants etc., Westport is a wonderful place to visit, and has a real buzz about the place

Overall the Mulberry Lodge is excellent value for money.

We were visiting with my dad to scatter some of my mum's ashes at the (abandoned) house that her dad left in 1932, and to see some of here relatives. We were looking for accommodation with a good breakfast and Mulberry Lodge fitted the bill perfectly. Rooms are small and cosy and there is a lounge to sit and chat. What sets Mulberry Lodge apart is the attention to detail and the little extras that are provided. The guest kitchen has tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc but also provides cereal and bread for toasting (with butter and jam) which is perfect for an early start or for a late night snack.

Breakfast was excellent with a good choice - cooked items were all freshly made, as was tea and coffee.

Nuala is a great hostess and the recommendations for dinner that her husband gave were excellent.

Plenty of parking, easy to find, quiet. It was perfect for what we needed.

We still have relatives in the area and will definitely be booking again when we come back to see them.

We were extremely happy with our stay in Mulberry lodge. Their was myself my husband and 2 boys age 6 and 9. Kevin went out of his way to make us feel very welcome and comfortable with giving us a warm Irish welcoming. One of the best breakfasts we've had on our travelling around Ireland and a great menu available for all dietary needs. Anything we needed & recommendations we could ask Kevin. Also the the house is spotless clean. Will 100% be back soon. Thank you for your hospitality it was a great experience

My stay on Mulberry Lodge felt like home from home. Kevin was very welcoming and his breakfast was cooked to perfection and delicious. My room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. It is only 5 mins walk to the main streets of Westport so I could enjoy dinner and the great music sessions and walk back safely.
I was well pleased with my choice of accommodation and will hopefully be back next summer.

Myself and my Dad stayed at Mulberry Lodge for 3 nights during our trip to Westport and we were not disappointed. Westport itself was lovely and the locals are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Kevin as a host was brilliant and very accommodating, and he ensured that any requests were seen to without issue.
Kevin was able to give us information about the local area and places to see in Connamara, which allowed us to see things that without his knowledge we would have missed.
Thank you Kevin, we will definitely be returning to this stunning part of Ireland.

We stayed here for two nights to do some sight seeing and enjoy the town of Westport. It’s an easy 5 minute walk into town, and though it’s on a busy road, our room was perfectly quiet. Our host Kevin was thoroughly impressive to be running the whole place himself - quite successfully - while maintaining an almost impossibly kind and lovely attitude at every interaction. Delicious breakfast, comfortable room. The hand written notes with local recommendations were a nice touch. Definitely stay here if you want the homey, quirky, personal touch of a true B&B. Do note that it’s cash only, which we somehow missed, but Kevin was very kind and patient in helping us get it figured out.

Stayed here for 1 night, Kevin is an excellent host, very informative about Westport. Mulberry Lodge is within walking distance to the town, everything was very handy, great breakfast, room was spotless and good space. Very steep up to the car park, could do with a tidy up outside, but it didn't affect my stay. Great views of Croagh Patrick. Kevin had a very welcoming and homely way with him. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Stayed in the Mulberry for two nights.
Kevin was an excellent host , gave some great recommendations for places to eat. And was very helpful during our stay.
For breakfast you could order whatever you like and portions were huge.
The bnb is within a few minutes walk of the town which was perfect.

Westport is an amazing town.
