Westport appears to be a very difficult place to find accommodation in. I ended up in Riverbank House after contacting more than10 other B&B's, one of whom was kind enough to find me the room in Riverbank. As it was a bank holiday, and I'd just had at least 10 refusals, I was glad to get any place at all.... More

Westport is a fantastic village at the start of Ireland's most beautiful Connemara. Myself and three friends decided to go for a long weekend but found accomodation hard to come by so we had to settle for Riverbank House.
