The Sligo City Hotel is ideally located in the centre of the town, next to O’Connell Street (main street with shopping, restaurants and bars), and a 5 minute walk from the bus and train station. The hotel has a 24 hour reception, complimentary Wi-Fi, limited free parking and free daily newspapers. The newly renovated rooms are spacious and have cable TV, tea and coffee making facilities, bathrooms with baths or showers, hairdryer, trouser press and access to ironing facilities. The Quays Bar and Restaurant serves full Irish breakfasts and has an evening dining menu. Live sporting events are shown on large plasma screens in the Quays Bar (Sky Sports). The Sligo Abbey, Yeats Memorial Building and many more tourist attractions are located close to the hotel. The hotel is situated opposite the popular Quayside Shopping Centre and overlooking Sligo Bay. Rosses Point and Strandhill beaches are just a 10 minute drive from the Sligo City Hotel with walking, swimming, golfing and surfing activities. Sligo is located a short forty five minute drive by car, taxi or bus from Ireland West (Knock) International airport.
