My husband and I spent the night of September 10 at the Glenraha Farmhouse in Mullinavat, just a bit north of Waterford. This is a beautiful place, run by the most loving people. The farm is fun and Jim will even give you "Wellies" to wear when you go to the barn for milking time. Brid, his wife, made sure... More

Very warm and friendly welcome by Brid and Jim, including hot cocoa for the children and tea for the adults. There were great dairy farm toys and a huge trampoline for the children. Jim took us to milk the cows and let the children participate. This turned out to be the highlight of the trip! The family bedroom was spacious... More

Had a nice time visiting, with lots of farm toys for our infant son to play with. We had a large room which was great for us with a travelcot provided. Brid also cooked us the best breakfast in Ireland..... We had dinner at the local pub in Mulinavat that Brid recommended and that was also excellent.

I believe we arrived the day ALE428 left. Brid greeted us with tea and cookies in the dining room, where my grandson (Andy, 19 months) had a fabulous time playing with the huge collection of toy farm equipment. He also had fun playing football (soccer) in the front yard with Brid and Jim boys, Sean and James. We arrived on... More

We're a family with two kids (5+8 years) from Germany and have just left Glenraha farm after 3 very pleasant days! Our hosts Brid and Jim were very welcoming and cared dearly for us. In the mornings we were invited to see how they work with the cows (milking, feeding, calves), our sons were even allowed to help a little... More

No trip in complete without a stay on an Irish working farm. Glenraha is ideal. Our hostess, Brid, has put much attention into every detail of her beautiful farmhouse, with bright cheery colors, large sunny breakfast room, tastefully decorated ensuite bedrooms. Everything was perfect for us. Mullinavat is a bit of a drive outside the city of Waterford, but well... More

My granddaughter and I stayed 2 nights at Glenraha Farmhouse. The whole family went out of their way to help us with making plans and showing us their farm. The accommodations were splendid and the food was excellent. Wonderful people and plan to return.
