We arrived in KIlkane looking for B&B for one night until our ferry corring the following day. It was a bank holiday in Ireland and everywhere seemed to be full. Have stayed now several times and have always been more that happy. My wife is disabled and the facilities provided and the help and support from the owner, Kay is brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Have recommended Old Orchard Lodge to friends and family and would recommend it to anyone reading this review. More

Stayed for one night en route south. Although this guest house is very handy for the ferry and is delightful from the outside we found our room (No. 3) left a lot to be desired......there was no dressing table (only a small table with tea/coffee etc. on) so consequently the only place to put anything was on the window sill....
