Everything about our stay was wonderful. We stayed in the Lascelles Suite which is certainly one of a kind, from the unique bath to the private cinema experience. A collision of the traditional and the modern. The food was very good - we had the Butler's menu served in our room. The wine list was full of variation and extremely... More

I have wanted to stay the night at Goldsborough Hall for ages but always thought it was too expensive. Saw a great offer via laterooms and took advantage of it on a Sunday evening. It was a really wonderful experience, from being welcomed at the front door by 'a traditional butler' to leaving the next morning after enjoying an excellent... More

We stayed for 2 nights in the Hanson Suite. The room was beautifully decorated with the largest bed i have ever slept in. There were lots of nice touches like the fresh fruit, fresh milk in the fridge for tea/coffee and 2 delicious shortbread biscuits as well as a good selection of tea/coffee.In the en suite there were dressing gowns... Have just returned from Goldsborough hall after a weekend stay. A lovely charming place, with very high standards throughout. We stayed in the Olgesby suite which had a beautiful four poster bed and was an amazing place to stay in. Its worth mentioning that this is a B&B not a hotel, so if you are expecting a bar/restaurant you will... More

We have just returned from a weekend break. I am confident that anyone wishing to receive a first class outstanding luxury break would not be disappointed with their stay here. The attention to detail is second to none and staff so accomodating, helpful and friendly obviously take great pride in sharing this idyllic haven. The gourmet tasting evening utterly brilliant... My husband and I stayed in the presidential suite for valentines the room was lovely but not exceptional for the cost of it, the champagne that I ordered for the room was not in when we arrived and didn't come later but was on the bill at the end of our stay. The hotel is lovely but lack's atmosphere, staff... More

Stayed here in December without knowing much about it as had just wanted accommodation in the area. What a great find - beautiful venue which I imagine is spectacular for weddings. Butler that meets you is delightfully friendly as are other staff members who all volunteered to give us a tour of the house. Rooms are lovely and the beds... More

Having a daughter marry besets a father with many problems. Choosing Goldsborough Hall, basically a specialist venue, sooths many of these away. This historic country house near Knaresborough has been through many guises, but its latest incarnation as a 'venue' (which also takes guests), is frankly stunning. Up to the event I adopted the traditional paternal role (sit in a... More
