Just returned from a weekend at this hotel. I would advise not to stay in what they call the Garden Room, not sure why they call it the Garden Room because there's no garden, just a car park., Room nice,,bathroom lovely but you are under the kitchen so very noisy. Other than that, lovely stay.

We went on a Saturday night. General atmosphere was good, the jazz trio not bad. No-one took our coats, though other diners seem to have managed to have got rid of theirs. The food was quite good, but woe betide you if you want wine by the glass. My husband enjoyed a nice pint of hand pulled ale, but the... More

Its old with sloping creeky floors, but this quirky hotel met all our needs for our 1 night stay in Harrogate. Great value at only 75GBP with breakfast included. We were on 1st floor with street view. Double glazed windows meant a quiet night. Large room and huge bathroom with great shower pressure & lovely towels. It was a sunny... More

Location is close to town centre. Service is excellent so is the food. Rooms are comfy and clean. The jazz influence in the hotel makes for a unique atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful town.

I have visited Harrogate many times and have stayed in several different hotels -all were good, however this week some friends and I had a midweek break and stayed in an apartment in this hotel We all loved it-very modern, lovely décor and spotlessly clean,in fact we couldn,t fault it.A superb breakfast was served to us in the hotel restaurant.Entertainment was also... Stayed here recently on business. Room very comfortable and the place is very quirky. The jazz in the bar in the evening adds to the character. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. I travelled with two other colleagues whom also very much enjoyed their stay.

An excellent location right in the city centre on a street packed with all maner of resturants, easy walking from both the train and bus station. limited car parking behind the hotel, The interior of the hotel is decidedly different and is undergoing some upgrading to the rooms, although i never heard any noise from workmen.restaurant and bar area are... We booked for 2 nights during a cold march. The hotel is quirky to say the least! Our room had a staircase behind the bed up to the bathroom, and was dressed in an old colonial style. It was warm and cosy, but with a very soft and springy bed. We ate at the hotel on the first night and... More

Me and my Dad went to the Brasserie last night, and were lucky enough to see a superb jazz trio whilst we ate. The atmosphere is wonderful, very classy but comfortable, decor that makes your eye wander and really stylish photographs and ornaments. We both had a drink and were soon to be seated at a lovely wooden table. The... More

We only stayed one night for a theatre break but the hotel is ideally suited, the Harrogate Theatre being just around the corner. The centre of town is also within easy walking to explore on foot. The availability of off street parking at the rear was also very welcome. We found the room very comfortable and full of character like... More
