If Maureen is still in charge, don't stay!!!!! We arrived at Pigeon Olde farm bed and breakfast and was abused on arrival by Maureen because we arrived at 7pm. Maureen expected us to arrive at tea time, however we were doing a tour of the yorkshire dales and arrived at approx, 7pm in the middle of a rainy July. This... More

We never actually got into the accomodation so our review is based upon our arrival and the host Maureen. On arrival we enquired if there was a lounge area where we could sit after our 1 year old son had been put to bed at 7pm and were promptly told No! Fair enough we thought we could mabye use the... We stayed at Pigeon Olde over the easter weekend and we could not have chosen a better place for staying. The rooms were spotlessly clean & comfortable. Tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolates in the room, wet shower with hot water. The location of the B&B is really good with just less than a mile to Knaresborough and less than 5... More

A night in Harrogate beckoned and at random a night was chosen at Ye Olde Pigeon Lodge. The accommodation was fine but the landlady was something else.......... Her take on guests was that she knew best and guests were supposed to listen to her views. Accommodation fine, host not! Not recommended for a relaxing few days or even one day. More

Good location between knaresborough and Harrogate. Very frequent and convenient bus service running every 8 mins or so from the main road outside the B&B into Karesborough and Harrogate. Saves having to take the car into the town centres and trying to find a car park. £3.60 return for two into Harrogate. Last bus leaves just after midnight from Harrogate.... More

I have just returned from our weekend stay at Pigeon Olde Farm Lodge with my mother and sister. Both our rooms were good. Lots of room, very clean and well presented. Refreshment provided. The ground floor accomodation just suited our needs as my mother has difficulty with stairs and prefers quieter places to stay. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast, lovely fruit... More

Rooms spotless. Very helpful when my spouse was admitted to hospital the morning of the day we were to arrive, Only charged me for a single instead of a double (I had to continue - it was business). Secure parking - a big plus in my book. More

Now don't get me wrong; the accommodation at Pigeon Olde Farm is very good indeed. The rooms are spotlessly clean and quite comfortable with the usual tea and coffee facilities. However if you want a relaxing break in the wonderful town of Harrogate then this might not not be the best choice. Firstly there is the price. Nearly £50 for... More
