Great hotel helpful staff, rooms not over large but comfortable and clean. Large secure gated car park at rear of the hotel. Excellent weekend in this hotel. Went there with some friends with one of the Amazon Local deals would definitely recommend. Helpful, friendly, efficient staff that go that extra mile in every way, good freshly prepared food both at breakfast & dinner. A great value weekend and very enjoyable.

“value for money hotel”

I recently spent an evening at this hotel whilst visiting the nearby Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, a heritage line that runs from Duffield to Wirksworth. My room, (No 105), on ground level as I have walking disabilities. A nice hotel with helpful staff, located close to the station. You can't hear the trains, though, and there's not much passing traffic. A very useful carpark, and only about 12 minutes walk to the Cathedral Quarter. I didn't have the breakfast, so can't comment on that.
