Stayed there last night and found the room clean, smart and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in and for £30 per night for the single room it was more than worth it. I will recommend the guesthouse to anyone wishing to visit Bolton. I suggest you book direct with the owners as I booked through... More

Good points - neat room, close to railway station and town centre, around 30 pounds per night.. Would have given it 4 stars but for 1) one of those hard to control showers 2) linen past its expiry date 3) bathroom could be cleaner and 4) noisy in the morning as I was under the breakfast room (not a problem... Clean, Good Bed, Warm, Excellent Breakfast cooked by "Flower" never new her real name, what more could you ask. Paid a great deal more and got nowhere near the quality that you recieve here. If ever in Bolton well worth the money, only a few minutes walk from all the amenities of the City centre. Will definately stay again when... More

Stayed here for 1 night whilst Christmas shopping. Very comfortable bed and lovely soft pillows. We had the ground floor bedroom which was situated next to the dining room so proved a bit noisy in the morning with people chatting on the way to breakfast. Disappointed that a Continental breakfast could not be accommodated. It's either a full English or... More

Debs gave us a warm welcome and addressed us by name throughout our stay. Our room was spotlessly clean, colour-coordinated and had a very generous supply of tea/coffee/milk, a packet of biscuits, a box of tissues, plenty of lights (with switches each side of the bed), a decent quality hairdryer, and fast internet access. The wardrobe had 14(!) matching high... More

Remarkable value for money. V. clean room and spotless bedding. I was expecting it to be quite basic but it was far from that because furniture was modern, furnishings were colour co-ordinated, generous supply of terabags, coffee etc - even biscuits! Some toiletries provided and a couple of nice white towels, couple of cushions and table lamps. TV on wall... More

I went to Bolton to do family history. I liked Highgrove Guest House the room was clean and very quiet. The location was easy to get to from the train or the bus. My brother and I walked to the property from the bus station. The staff was really nice and the breakfast was good. The one thing that a... More

Visited with my mother. Large twin room fair sized bathroom. Everything was clean and friendly service. Nice quiet night. Location is perfect for people coming by train with a 5 min walk from station. Very reasonable rates and you can add a breakfast if you wish. I didn't this time but will defiantly be back again. 😃

Debbie and Lee are easy-going, good humoured hosts, offering value-for-money accommodation / breakfast (more than satisfactory all round). I'd certainly not hesitate to return.

Awful! The bathroom should have been condemned, it was dangerous; cracked dirty, tiles, nothing would stay on the glass shelf which was loose, the shower was dangerous, either freeze or burn nothing in between and I have never seen so much grimy sealant around a shower. Stained carpet, cheap bedding and a general run down feeling and appearance. Breakfast adequate... More
