I truly believe this is the best tea shop in the Cotswolds! The scones are to die for. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and when we enter the quaint, cozy tea room we feel like we have stepped back in time. The AGA stove in the back room keeps you toasty even on the dampest day. It simply does not get more British than this, either the institution that is the cream tea, or the place itself - English owned and run, great cakes and treats cooked onsite, in authentic (old but good) surroundings. Only downside, and this is not their fault, is that it's all round goodness attracts the foreign tourists, with their loud brash... More

Us 3 kids plus our other halves took the parents away to the Cotswolds for their 60th birthday. On the Saturday we booked afternoon tea at Badgers Hall (well you have to don't you if you're in the Cotswolds!!) On arrival the owner was so welcoming and friendly. We had booked in advance given the size of our party and... More

I tried to stay there but owner wanted same price for rooms facing front of hotel. I saw previous reviews warning of street noise. I asked for discount due to potential noise and owner was offended. I stayed at another local B&B instead. More

I conduct small group tour around the UK and Ireland and I am always looking for unique accommodation and this really fits the bill! I have been coming to Badgers Hall for several years to eat but I had not stayed here until last summer. They only have 4 rooms and so I hadn't been able to use them before... More

If a cream tea is something you crave this is the place to visit. All the cakes look lovely but the scones are out of this world, large & light with a crunchy edge. You will not be disappointed. Can't wait to return! More

This was our second stay at Badger's Hall in ChippingCamden and no doubt there will be Others. the only downside is the increased waistline.... More

My husand and I were looking for a few days break on our own before our impending new arrival. Badgers Hall was perfect. We stayed for three nights and thoroughtly enjoyed ourselves. The property itself is beautiful and very traditional with lots of exposed beams and stonework. The tea room is by far the nicest I've ever visited and even... More
