Great room with superb bathroom -- felt like it could have been twice the price. Staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Excellent location, just on the edge of the Northern Quarter, easy walk to Exchange Square and Picadilly Station. Breakfast was only alright; everything else was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Was expecting just a simple hotel like a travelodge. Wrong! Such a lovely modern hotel. Good value. Rooms have a large space to spend the night. Lovely bathroom. Air conditioning was a bonus! Stayed here for 2 nights on business as Crowne Plaza next door was full. Equally as good for a lot less money! Room was really clean and spacious too. Lifts are quick and no long waits. Lots of really good restaurants close by and a buzzing atmosphere in this area too. Definetely would stay here again.

I've lived in Manchester for 1 year (studies) and I have visited it many times since then. I have visited many hotels and this was by far the best! I really loved it! nice room, friendly staff, brand new facilities! and fair prices!

Good location near city centre but not easy to find on first visit (behind Crowne Plaza) and no on-site parking, although other car parks close by with discount parking offered from reception. Stayed on 7/6/13. Paid £65 extra to keep the room until 5/6 pm. Staff tried to throw other members of our party out by 4 pm and were overly assertive. When I politely registered my dissatisfaction I was subjected to accusatory e mails. Appalling treatment which has caused considerable aggravation. So 0 /10 for customer service
