Stayed here for a night as we were Didsbury for the evening and it was cheaper to drive here and park up rather than use taxis. It's okay to get your head down, pretty run down place though, really in need of a refurbishment. The lift was not working either which was a pain for us as they put us... More

Rude staff, terrible thin pillows and was told I would have to pay for a second pillow. Noisy on a main junction. Check-in at 3pm - we arrived at 2.50pm and they wouldn't even acknowledge us until the clock hit 3pm! Not worth talking about anymore. Just be warned if you book this place.

Stayed here for one night in order to be close to parrs wood complex for a meal and cinema. We were quoted £40 for the night as it was a Sunday but luckily got a voucher for £10 off from a voucher website. Anyway, we were greeted by a lovely guy on reception and we didn't expect much for the... More

As we were house hunting in Manchester we stayed one night in the Travelodge. It was a good location for where we needed to be. The first advantage was the friendly guy on the front desk. Very welcoming and friendly, really helpful and a credit to Travelodge. Just a shame the hotel is so disappointing! It was a very cold... More

Stayed here one night before using Manchester Airport. On the plus side; • It has free parking • Cheap • Standard Travelodge offering But; • Thin mattress • Seemed to have to go on a convoluted way through an adjacent cinema complex to get there- although found you could actually miss that out when departed the Travelodge • Strong perfume... Turned up and took 5 mins buzzing at reception till somebody arrived. No apology! Hotel in disrepair. Bed linnen needs replaced as there were hazy outlines where you could tel people has slept before, tv speakers were broken, chips in the walls, dirty carpets, furniture chipped and bits missing. There was a lot of traffic noise in my room and... More

We stayed for one evening to use nearby West Didsbury for an evening event. Overall, this is a poor hotel. Value for money is unsatisfactory. It is unsatisfactory because whilst the cost of the room is cheap, the service received and the quality of the room is poor. The check in experience was poor. We were left waiting at reception... Great location, really close to the charming Didsbury and Hale etc, perfect for a place to crash, just don't expect too much. It's clean enough and fit for purpose. The staff are really friendly and eager to help.

This is a poor excuse for a Travelodge. In need of refurbishment, and possibly a move to another location. It is the same as all the other`s in the chain, basic rooms, ok showers and under staffed at normal check in times. And it smells. A major concern was when we got back after a night out,( about 11.30pm.) there... More
