Easy to check-in with friendly and helpful staff services throughout. Breakfast buffet good value for choice. Didn't find it too easily from train station, wandered a bit, but is right in the middle of things and useful base for city centre exploring. No two ways about it, this room (seventh floor) was not satisfactory as a double room. It would doubtless be adequate as a single but the bed was just barely a standard double whereas I thought 3* and above hotels routinely went for oversize. I have recently returned from a few nights in this Hotel, I stayed in June last year, it was then a Ramada Hotel. Little has changed since it has become a Mercure.
