This hotel is basically a stopping-place for travelers on their way through Strasbourg. It is in a nice setting, just off the Orangerie but on the other side of the park from the European Parliament buildings. As such, it is not handy to anything, though one can take wonderful strolls through the park. The main transit line is a good... More

It was a pleasure to stay in Residence Jean-Sebastien Bach! Large apartment with enourmous balcony. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Buildings of ECHR and Council of Europe within walking distance. Free wifi was in lobby only. I would highly recommend! More

If you are lucky to get a room during plenary sesssions of the European Parliament, go for it. The bed is really good, the room it's quiet, the bathroom is nice and clean. There is a small kitchenette, which is convenient, as there are no decent restaurants in the area. There are two supermarkets where you can get some ready-made... More

Room - average with built in sink and dishwasher. Big balcony and nice leafy suburban area. Service - average. The lady at reception looks stress and unfriendly! Management could do a little more training about customer service! Perks - free wi fi in the lobby. The is a washing machine and ironing board in the basement which is very handy,... More

Pleasant stay in quiet suburban Strasbourg. 2 minutes from stroll in Orangerie Park. Then tram into old town(Republique). 10 minute return walk from L'Opera tram stop in evening. Secure parking good, but could have parked for free in nearby streets. Decent breakfast, nice balcony, good size clean room. More

We enjoyed our night at this hotel. Clean, everything as advertised, quiet at night. Wifi in the lobby. Don't eat at the restaurant in the park: le jardin l'orangerie or something like that. Overpriced, middling to poor french food. Worst meal of a 14 day trip. And not cheap. Not really near public transportation. Parking on the street was easy. More

We had 3 days in Strasbourg and couldn't fault this hotel at all. Very friendly and efficient on check in - we had a very nice suite with bedroom and pull out sofa bed for the kids with very big bathroom and separate WC. The balcony was very nice and the small kitchen very adequate. The entire room was very... More

We get an excellent value for money service and accommodation. Its position close to Orangerie park was a marvelous joy, specifically after a night of snowing. Breakfast was enough even for me (3-4 plates of everything). Quietness is a trully advantage even for noisy families due to noise-proof appartments. More

About 15-20 mins pleasant walk from old town, but very close to the Orangerie Park. Clean, decent size room with balcony, decent breakfast (could do with some fresh fruit and juice instead of canned fruit and orange sugary juice from concentrate but nice pastries, cheese, meats, etc). Free wifi in the hotel lobby. Helpful staff, room available to us from... More

Stayed at the J.S. Bach Residence for 3 nights for a city trip with my wife. Located adjacent to the south/east or the Orangerie Park. Spacious hotel rooms with kitchenette and balcony. Great breakfast & nice staff! Only drawback is next tram station (ca. 10 min.) but that is a nice walk in the morning / afternoon. I can highly... More
