Good looking hotel, pleasant location, parking free outside. Room and bathroom good size and well equipped. Breakfast substantial with friendly staff. Take care not to be locked out at night, front door locked fairly early. Good value for money. Very handy for a splendid restaurant called the 'English' restaurant. More

We had interconnecting rooms for us, two teenagers and two dogs. One had balcony overlooking interesting side street. Very clean and fresh. Renovated old building - very tasteful. Good value breakfast. Enclosed parking opposite which we missed it was so well disguised - but on road (free) parking just around the corner. More

We stayed at the Balmoral for a weekend in November and all thought this was a good hotel. Great location, modern decor and spotless room. The receptionist could not have been more helpful and the breakfast was good quality for a buffet style. More

Helpful and friendly staff throughout the stay. Excellent value breakfast buffet. Clean, nicely furnished rooms. 5 minutes max from waterfront and boats to Saint-Malo. Lounge area downstairs but unfortunately no light switch if you want to relax outside the room in the evenings. No private hotel parking, but reasonable covered parking just outside. More

This is a great hotel. It was refurbished last year, so is in a perfect condition - rooms and public areas. We had the cheapest double, and it was quite small but fine for a couple for a weekend. A very clean and tidy 2* in a great location. Attractive building well located in a quietish street maybe 400 metres from the sea front.
