Nice place in central location. Rooms are smallish but ok for a few nights. Very clean and you have everything you need. Lots of free parking nearby. Restaurants are within east walking distance as is the castle. We opted not to have breakfast but looked like many guests did.

This hotel is in the middle of the action. The rooms are smaller but the location makes up for it. The rooms are also air conditioned which is very nice and the breakfast is pretty good. The service was also very nice.

This hotel was PERFECT for me. Amboise can be a busy town, so I appreciated being tucked away, a bit. The room was small, but had everything I needed. Clean, modern bathroom. The hotel owner went above and beyond to help me sort out my transportation alternatives when the I was meant to take went on strike. Thank you!!

Beautiful quaint old hotel in a terrific location in the centre of Amboise, rooms are obviously compact but have everything needed and are spotlessly clean. Great selection for breakfast and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. This was particularly important when the bike hire company did not collect our luggage for transfer to Tours. The girl on reception was really helpful and communicated with our hotel in Tours to arrange the transfer. I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly return.

Hotel is ideally position in Amboise, central (3 min walk) and yet in a quite, off the tourist route, setting, with ample free parking just outside. Plenty of restaurants around, Chateau of Amboise is just 5 min walk. Hotel is in the old building, but the rooms are newly-ish furbished. Staff are very polite and helpful. Can easily recommend it for stay in Amboise.

Amboise makes a perfect location for seeing the chateaux in the eastern part of the Loire. We stayed 5 nights and booked two small rooms. Each was immaculately clean, and one had a spectacular view of the Amboise Chateau. The hotel is centrally located and parking was secure. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind to us. We particularly enjoyed using the outdoor table in the patio, and breakfast is also available onsite. The building is quite historic, with a windy central staircase. Hotel Le Blason is charming but not upscale/fancy. We loved our stay and would happily return.

The hotel is close the old town centre. The building is historic and has beautiful beams that you can see so it definitely does add character. However the room we were in was facing the main room so it was noisy during the night as we heard cars racing down the street. The stair case was a bit dark to walk up and down even with lighting and the carpet was not clean during our stay there. Rooms were compact and clean. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel so it was fine for our short stay in Amboise.

This hotel looks like an old building from the outside but inside has been modernised so it is functional but loses character. Staff friendly and the rooms very clean. Our room was on a noisy street. The bedroom hardly allowed us to walk around the bed and opening both cases at once was a challenge. Only one person could fit into the bathroom at a time as it’s so small. If your budget is really tight it’s acceptable but otherwise give it a miss.

We had a one night experience at Hotel Le Blason. It worked for our needs though while we were there it was quite hot and it was a bit difficult to keep the rooms cool enough to be comfortable. Fortunately, they were able to give us a fan for our rooms which helped. The rooms are small but adequate and the bathrooms had been modernized. No shower door but that wasn’t a problem. The morning breakfast was pretty basic but was enough to get us going for the day. The staff are helpful and carried our bags to the rooms for us which was a big help on the tight staircase. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy.

This hotel is a very old building on a quiet street in the old quarter, clean and reasonably priced. There are a lot of stairs and no lift, but staff willingly helped get my luggage to my room, and brought it downstairs when I was ready to leave. The location was ideal for exploring the old quarter. I was pleased to stay here while visiting Amboise.
