We had an excellent night at Le Diderot, a wonderful friendly family -run hotel . Very comfortable in a beautiful setting -- and an excellent base for exploring Chinon and the Loire valley, or breaking your journey south. Lovely hotel, we had a garden room. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Location is great for town and chateau region. Breakfast was great and the Homemade jams are Excellent! Definitely recommend for a stay.

The Diderot lived up to every one of its reviews. A beautiful friendly family run hotel.
