Hotel is clean, central and a lot going for it. We encountered a noise problem, not the usual street noise that some have mentioned but techno music coming from the room next door, all night. We had been told on arrival that reception closed at 11pm and took this to mean that there was no one on reception. When we... More

We came upon this hotel when we went to hotel ronsard and they had cancelled our booking so this was the only place with a room left. Its in a good location for young people, a big square with pubs and bars all around. There are heaps of restaurants right outside the hotel so that was helpful to us. The... More

We stayed there for three nights on Tuesday-Thursday last week. Very small room, small en-suite - we were on the top floor at the back. Stairs would be an issue if you are not so mobile. Room was boutiquey with a modern bathroom. But it was not the kind of place you can relax after a hard day of sightseeing.... More

I was quite delighted with L'Adresse: I just wanted it to be somewhere else! Place Plumereau and the surrounding streets have bars and discotheques hopping until all hours. If that's your scene then you'll love staying in this area. It wasn't mine. I'm a sound sleeper, but even at that, the constant bottle-smashing was a little much. And the singing!... More

I stayed at the hotel three nights. The staff was very helpful, even in helping me find a hotel on one night when theirs was full. It is right in the old city; step out to lots of restaurants, cafes, gelato places. The Loire river is just a few blocks away. My room was lovely, nicely decorated, very comfy bed,... More

We spent one night here. The receptionists are really kind and friendly and helpfull!!! The room is quite clean, quiet. The only inconvinience is we had big luggages and our room is on 3/F without a lift. The receptionists told us that we can leave our bags next to the reception so it helped a lot. We will def come... The hotel is right in the middle of the old town of Tours, very close to the main square and is therefore ideal for soaking up some of the history of the town along with the nightlife. It small, but functional and the staff helpful. Breakfasts are optional and perfectly adequate. Being at the centre, a room on the front... More

So well placed - right in the middle of the old town, surrounded by medieval buildings. We were surprised that the whole hotel looked exactly like the photographs on their own website. Rose-Marie, the manageress, was fantastic - very discreet but friendly. I tried out my French and she tried out her English and we met half way. The bed... More

I stayed at this hotel for four nights in mid November. It's not very far from the Tourist Office. I recommend taking a taxi to the hotel if you have a lot of luggage. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They speak English. The rooms are clean and sleek (as Lonely Planet described). There is no lift, so be prepared.... More

The most memorable thing about our stay at L'Adresse was the noise from the revellers in the street which intensified in the early hours of the morning. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and on each night, without fail, we were woken up by a group people screaming and shouting at the top of their voices, their behaviour... More
