This hotel is not for everyone's budget but it's worth it if you want to have an ideal experience in Paris. As soon as you walk in the backyard, you feel transported to another time. Charmed or enchanted would be a good way to describe the feeling. It is so quiet and exquisite. The staff is friendly and very professional,... More

My husband and I just returned from our "babymoon" to Paris, and I wanted to share a few thoughts about this exquisite, charming hotel. It is nestled in a quaint courtyard in the Placa de Vosges in the Marais district, close to the subway (Bastille on Line 1) and some of the best restaurants in Paris that we ate at.... More

We stayed here five nights before Christmas with my husband's parents and in all the holiday craziness upon our return, I forgot to write a review of this exquisite hotel. First of all, you feel like you are in a design magazine, it's just beautiful inside and out. It's tucked away from the street around the Place des Vosgue so... More

We booked the first two nights of a three week Paris stay in Pavillon de la Reine. After a 14 hour flight we were looking for a place that would provide excellent no-fuss service and luxurious accommodation in what we feel is the best quarter in Paris. Some describe Place des Voges as the most beautiful square in Europe and... More

The Place des Vosges has long been one of my favourite parts of Paris, so I was very much looking forward to staying in this hotel. I cannot praise it highly enough. The concierge checked our arrival time, and even though we were early, our room was ready. Staff were discreet and knowledgeable. The breakfast had a good selection of... More

We stayed for 8 nights in March 2012 as part of our honeymoon and were really impressed with this hotel. Having visited Paris a few times, this hotel was by far the best I've stayed in particularly when it comes to location. The Marais is now my favorite part of Paris and it allows you to escape many of the... More

The good: The staff is wonderful, service is excellent and performed with a smile, and the location is superb, as many have pointed out. The bad: There is no value for cost. As pointed out by others, room rates are very high (~$800/night for the junior suite/loft bedroom), and our room (Ch. 15) was in need of a thorough update--bedroom,... More

When you travel to Paris, the last thing you want to have happen is to be seen as an outsider, a raconteur of the familiarly mundane, a simple commoner. Everything about the Pavillon removes that scent and reaches to discover your Parisian soul deep within you. From the Pavillon, easy walks can be made to local galleries, brasseries, and shops,...
