This little hotel is in a marvelous location both for walking and for connecting to any part of the metro system. The rooms are small and a bit threadbare, but the beds are comfortable, the staff helpful and the air conditioning is top-notch, a must for me during the summer in Paris.I did not find another Paris hotel with AC... This hotel is in a great location. It is around the block from the Metro station and about a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Hotel Turenne is ideally located with restaurants, shops, and grocery stores within a few minute walk. It is also affordable compared to other hotels in the area. The staff spoke decent English, were helpful,... More

This hotel was by far the best price I could find in this area. The location was great, near Rue Cler, a grocery store, cafes (of course), and the metro stop. Yes, of course it was small, and my single room was barely larger than the double bed, but it worked for me. It was really quite comfortable. I can... More

I had to reschedule my annual trip to Paris from February to mid April. Better weather, but more people and tougher to get into restaurants without a reservation and long lines for museums. I booked a hotel in the St. Germain area, very nice, no complaints except that I am not used to paying 200 euros per night for a... More

I was pretty disappointed with my stay at hotel turenne. I was in a single twin room for 6 nights in April. I found them through Rick Steves' guidebook. - The bathroom was so small that you had to leave the door open when you used the toilet with your knees sticking out into the room. There was also a rusty... More

We stayed here in October on our second trip to Paris. Compact but decent size room for Paris, (which is to say, small but there was still room enough for everything). Our room was on the front of the hotel, facing the street and there was some traffic noise, but again, it wasn't anything we didn't expect. The hotel itself... More

We stayed at Hotel Turenne two seperate times in July 2011. Our first stay was for three nights. We were so impressed with this tiny little gem that we booked to stay two more nights once returning from Belgium. First of all, the price in this location cannot be beat. We paid under 100 Euro and we found it difficult... More

We stayed here for two nights in October 2011. The hotel location is convenient - near the Ecole Militaire metro stop and less than a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower (5 minutes to the end of the park for a view of the Eiffel tower). The rooms were small, simple, clean and a good value for Paris. We... More

This hotel is perfectly situated for a short visit to Paris when you are trying to pack as much sightseeing in as possible. It is just a 15 minute walk to the Eiffle Tower and the launch site for the Seine river boat cruises. The hotel is right around the corner from the Ecole Militaire metro station, which can get... We stayed 3 nights dring our backpacking trip to Paris. Great location just off Ecole Militaire metro stop. We arrived early so we left our luggage at the front desk and went sightseeing and came back in the evening. We walked to Rue Cler and got our breakfast there. Lots of bakeries to choose from. There is also a Carre... More
