My boyfriend and myself stayed in this hotel over the weekend 20th-23rd of April. The hotel is conveniently located a minutes walk from the metro (stop Argentine) and but a stones throw from the Arc de Triumph and the Champs-Elyeese. After arriving by the Air France bus from Charles de Gaulle to the Arc the hotel was an easy walk... More

More or less two years and half ago, somebody stole my backpack from the safe of hotel. FROM THE SAFE!!! It could be called UNSAFE! Until current days nobody there told me nothing about my stuff (my passport, my wife´s passport, a Cannon professional machine, a Sony movie machine, one Apple MacBook Noir, my blackberry, my wallet with three creditcards,... We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during a trip booked to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The welcome we had from the female receptionist was warm and inviting. Unfortunately the room was not. We stayed in room 603, it was extremely dated and not the luxury we had been looking for. This said perhaps this was the fault... More

I stayed here with my partner and 16 month daughter. The room was large, but without the views mentioned by other reviews and they provided a cot for my daughter, which had to be brought to the room when we had reminded the staff about it. Breakfast was average - continental but the option of toast, fruit salad, meats or... More

My wife and i stayed here on a recent trip to Paris (room 603). The staff, i found to be very polite and extremely patient while i practiced my rather poor French on a daily basis. The room while a bit dated, did have the advantage of a little balcony which overlooked the street below and the rooftops of Paris.... More

My girlfriend and I had the unfortunate life experience of staying at this terrible hotel during a trip to Paris in August. There was a homeless man urinating in front of the hotel when we arrived, and we should have taken that as a sign to run for it. The staff were unproffessional and rude, but you can hardly blame... We had one of the rooms looking on to the small courtyard so a great view of a wall. Made the room very dark. The bath had a shower attached but no where on the wall to put it not that it matters as the water was Luke warm. Suppose the stubble looks good on the photos but I would... More

Really clean rooms but basic slightly faded interior more than made up for by staff's friendliness and lovely croissants at breakfast. Reception staff particularly helpful spoke v good english but graciously, allowed me to practise my french. Location fab 5 mins walk to arc de triomphe and safe feeling area. Would recommend le cristal bistro on av de la grande... More
