Yes you are in the ''red light'' district but you feel safe and comfortable walking the streets. An excellent hotel with small ( well, really small!!) newly refurbished rooms and modern ensuites The breakfast is buffet style with good quality fare. Nice hotel in the most lively district of Paris. I strictly recommend it to all visitors and i we would definitely go back there when i visit the city again. Many cool places around there. You should stop for a drink at "Le Sans Souci" brasserie located just in the next corner of the hotel.
