I recently stayed two nights in Montparnasse Alesia. The room was not large, but not too small. No frills, but a nice bed. A bathroom with a good shower, but no toiletries. There is a lift, although I took the stairs. Breakfast is adequate, continental style. If you are expecting full English breakfast, you will be disappointed. Front staff were... More

Ok hotel but nothing special. Nice and clean in the rooms and areas and friendly staff. Booked over booking.com and it wasnt really a catch. Breakfast was ok actually and only 9€ extra. Close to metro

Good location with essential shopping stores nearby. The front of house staff were rude and impatient but could understand and speak English well. Breakfast was ok- no hot water for tea because the urn was broken. Decent size room and was very clean. Heard my neighbor return to their room at 1am in the morning and heard the door shutting... Rue d'Alesia is a nice area with lots of shops and the 14e arrondissement is still a true Paris district without too many tourists, though only some metro stops away from the touristic main sites. The hotel is clean but in summer, we had a room without air conditioning. The other couple with whom we traveled had it but the... More

After having a bad experience with a hotel 2 blocks away that we had to move right away, we found this lovely hotel that were open to give us the room first thing in the morning, the rooms are very nice, big, new carpet, nice bathroom, room 15 has a nice view to the patio so less noise to your... The black woman at the front desk greeted me by name when we arrived, without even seeing my paperwork or asking for confirmation number. She was very courteous and helpful, proactively explaining things in French. The cute guy who works night shift was also polite but not outgoing. He promptly fixed our power and loaned us a different adaptor after... More

It is located in the middle of a shopping street with drug store, banks, mobile phone shop, convenient shops, boutiques, nice restaurants. It was under renovation and the hotel was covered with scaffolding but inside the building was fine. We paid 230euro for four nights, which was reasonable. Breakfast is not included but there are many nice restaurants bakeries within... More

We went At this hotel last night to transfer because there was no available room at the hotel we were staying for the next morning. Glama the desk at night was very patient and kind to book us a room for today, as my husband went there, there was a daytime black lady who said that there was no available... More

I stayed in this hotel recently and my baggaged was pilfered. Some small items were taken. Nothing very valuable was in the luggage. The hotel staff denied that a theft could occur and were completely unhelpful. The hotel is well located, inexpensive and clean, but beware.

Unwelcoming, unhelpful, uni-lingual staff. First impressions are very important and at this small hotel the reception staff are curt, very unhelpful as if it would be a shock to provide anything other than a key, and very ill matured. When I asked if they had an adapter for my computer the receptionist made a big fuss about how difficult the... More
