What this hotel lacks in size and scale, it more than makes up in its quality of service, location and small niceties such as inclusive breakfast, wi fi and afternoon tea.
Want to particularly mention an episode with my blackberry phone - left it in the room but didnt know for sure where or what had happened to it. Called...

My daughter and I stayed here for part of a vacation. The staff was very nice and very helpful. We found the Wifi to be very good despite the frequency of having to log on - it was fast! The breakfast and tea were very good and a great way to save if you have to travel on a budget....

My husband and I stayed here for a week in April 2012. I chose this hotel based on past reviews, the location and the free breakfast. I also picked it because they have queen size beds instead of a double since there were two of us. The room was average for Europe standards but it was nice to have a...

Me and my wife stayed at the hotel for three nights in april 2012. The location was great especially since I ran the Paris Marathon and had a comfortable walk to the starting line on the Champs-Elysees.
The rooms were fresh and big enough for two persons. Breakfast was ok and they also had a teatime buffet everyday and some...

Great location, just couple of hundred meters away from Champs-Elysées and 500 meters from Arc de Triomphe. Friendly service, free WLAN in the lobby and rooms (though it required constant logging on). Rooms are Ok size, recently renovated bathrooms. Sound isolation could be a bit better, but this is a common challenge in all big cities.
Positive surprises were complimentary...

Stayed in this hotel for three nights, found the best value through the hotels own website. it's very close to the Arc d'Triomphe so it was easy to get a bus (Les Cars Air France) from the Charles de Gaulle airport then stroll to the hotel.
We got an incredibly warm welcome from William the receptionist which set the tone...

Dont think I would stay here again. Very small room, although I know this is standard in Europe but this was almost a joke. The free breakfast is ok, just toast really, however the evening one I wouldn't feed the food to my dog. Bed was uncomfortable and I felt like it was tipping down. Would suggest spending a little...

We walked in the front door of The Friedland and immediately felt at home. The front desk staff was very friendly and spoke English with us and recommended restaurants to us that were fantastic. They upgraded our room to the Superior which was massive for Paris standards. The free breakfast every morning was everything you would want plus some. They...

Stayed three nights in March 2012. Reception staff very friendly and the free evening buffet was an unexpected bonus. It wasn't too noisy either. The room was a little poky but that's par for the course in this type of hotel in Paris. The only reason I wouldn't necessarily return is because the area, whilst close to L'Arc de Triomphe,...
