I stayed here twice now, each time just for one night and my experience so far has been good. The rooms are clean and normal size for Paris. The staff is friendly and the guy at the reception desk recognized me from my previous visit a little over a month ago which is nice. The breakfast is good. Nothing extraordinary... More

In the end you will likely not Hate this hotel as long as you set expectations properly. The below points must be understood otherwise you will be unhappy here. 1. Its Paris and rooms tend to be on the smaller side unless you pay a bundle. 2. Its Paris so don't expect an American style "Welcome to our Hotel" and... More

We Stayed at Courcelles Etoile in Oct 2011. On arrival the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was small but perfectly formed. The rooms are much smaller than a London hotel but this is typical for a Hotel in Paris. I paid a little extra and got a deluxe room, this meant the Bathroom was in a separate... More

The website definitely set high expectations - which were gradually gone during my stay there. First the carpet on the corridors with the random spots of bleach. The kind of spots you don't wanna know how they ended up being there - but the more you try not to think about it the creepier it gets. Then the fact that... More

It's misleading to talk about size of rooms in a hotel unless there is some basis of comparison. For the price range in Paris, the room size at this hotel is normal and adequate. I wish the French used mattresses more like what we are used to in the US, but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is a good... More

The hotel is located in an area with no parking , access with Metro is convenient . Rooms are really small - There is barely a place to open your suitcase. Rooms are rather new and clean , maintenance of the hotel is NOT good ( water keep running in toillets , light bulbs missing ...)( More

The hotel is well placed near a metro station and some tourist sites. There is a taxi rank just opposite across the road. The rooms are comfortable, clean, with nice bathrooms and modern. I found the staff a bit distance, but polite and efficient, although not all that helpful. I had a room facing the main road and at night... More

We went to Paris in August 2010. The hotel has a great location, near a subway station from which you can go to several places of Paris. The room is small but very cozy. The breakfast is very good. The only drawback is that the women receptionist is not very polite. Her English is not understandable and when I asked... More

A very reasonably priced hotel in Paris. I do recommend getting a room that doesnt face the road, even though the view is much nicer over the street, the noise can be a little loud for light sleepers. The first night was noisy - room facing the street. The second night we stayed facing the back - really loved this... More

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms are quite small but it is typical of most Paris hotels in certain neighborhoods (we heard). For me, it is very important that the room is clean and comfortable. It was. I highly recommend it. Just be aware of the treatment by the reception staff, we are much more used to... More
