The hotel is pretty, clean, and in a perfect location but what really sets it apart is the friendly and accommodating staff. I've stayed at many lovely and clean hotels in Paris but usually the staff are stand-offish at best. At Melia Colbert they speak several languages and they really make an effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable....
